Our favourite heterosexual, studly Ryan Seacrest, took to the stage, dramatically asked for the lighting to be dimmed and proceeded to make his weekly cull of the vulnerable American Idol kids. First to go was Jared Cotter. He picked a bad song but I reckon voters still hadn’t forgiven him for last week’s sexy face during his song..
The other guy to leave was Sundance Head. Now, some bloggers are up in arms about this, but face it, Sundance hasn’t sung in tune since his first audition. Week after week he just murders his songs and his pitch is all over the place. Oh, did Randy remember to describe him as pitchy this week? Sanjaya can sing in tune, even if his effeminate mincing on stage and come-hither love making to the camera makes me feel uncomfortable. I bet Michael Jackson enjoys his pubescent persona though!
As for the ladies, it was finally time to say goodbye to Antonella Barba. She’s probably become more famous than any other female contestant so far due to the internet publication of her dirty photos and she’s been at the top of many current internet search engines. The girl’s done good and has already received a job offer for $250k with Girls Gone Wild. Somehow, I don’t think this is the last we’ll see of Antonella, though hopefully it’ll be the last time we have to listen to her!
The next lady to leave was Sabrina Sloan. I’d liked Sabrina from the beginning and hoped she make it to the last weeks. Did you see Sabrina’s weirdly contorted face when she was made to stand with Haley to find out which one of them was leaving? When Ryan announced it was Haley who was staying, Sabrina turned to Haley with a look of disgust as if she was thinking “how can this no-talent prom-queen bitch still be in this competition?”
I was thinking the same thing!
