Ugly Betty's smile insured for a not so ugly £5,000,000

The BBC reports that Ugly Betty leading lady, America Ferrara, has had her smile insured for a cool £5,000,000! She didn't shell out that kind of money herself of course, it's a marketing tool by Aquafresh White Trays, which is collaborating with Ferrera to raise money for U.S. charity Smiles for Success. The policy was taken out with Lloyd's of London which seems to specialise in ridiculous insurance policies in return for the requisite publicity.

America Ferrara said: "It's very flattering to have my smile insured for $10 million, it's not something that I ever imagined happening."
