On my iPod shuffle this week - a Christmas selection

I've got a Christmas selection this week to get me into the mood:

Mariah Carey All I Want for Christmas - There's a club in Manchester that plays this each week starting around Easter. I'm not a Mariah fan (way too much emoting and vocal acrobatics for my liking) but I love this.

Wham Last Christmas - Oh, come on, you gotta love this one with gorgeous George!

Kate Bush December Will Be Magic Again - I've got both versions of this. One is pretty straightforward but the second version has a reggae vibe to it and slightly different vocal at the beginning of each verse and I prefer that one.

The Pogues featuring Kirsty MacColl Fairytale of New York - I love the bit when Kirsty sings:
"You scumbag, you maggot
You cheap lousy faggot
Happy Christmas your arse
I pray God it's our last."

The Four Tops 'Twas The Night Before Christmas - This must be one of the most demented songs ever, it's 6 minutes and 28 seconds of complete freakery. Track it down and listen to it, you won't believe your ears!
