Christian Siriano is a hot shirtless mess

Ok, so how's this for a shirtless guy? Actually, Christian Siriano doesn't look too bad at all in this hot mess photograph taken by his boyfriend and fellow blogger Brad Walsh:

"Surprisingly he had no problem with me using that middle photo of him on the internet. I mean, it's nothing more than people at the beach see, but you know. People are strange."

Oh, seeing Christian again reminds me, I allegedly watched the new Project Runway on YouTube this morning (like I'm gonna patiently wait six months before it gets shown here in the UK) but I want to watch it again before giving my thoughts. I don't just throw out this shit you know, it's considered!

The hairless, airbrushed torso at Abercrombie & Fitch

I was doing a spot of online window shopping at Abercrombie and Fitch this evening inbetween glancing over at rerun episodes of CSI on the telly (I love anything to do with detectives and murder, I'm so grim!) and I noticed something about the photograph of a male torso that they're currently using on their homepage.

The Abercrombie & Fitch brand has always used impossibly great looking models in their marketing - not that there's anything wrong with that - but this image is so airbrushed and altered that it no longer resembles a natural human body. You can even see how the pubic hair has been removed and it's pretty badly done too.

I don't know what Abercrombie & Fitch are trying to say with this image, but if the body of a hairless, beautiful, toned young model isn't good for 'em, what hope is there for the rest of us?

I never get tired of model du jour Kerry Degman and it looks like the gays at OUT magazine are also smitten as they've featured him again in an editorial, this one's titled "The Pickup Game: a Long Afternoon in the Park" - see what they've done there? The reason why I'm looking forward to Quantum of Solace

Ok, so I have to confess something - I've never been a James Bond fan. In fact, I don't think that I'd ever sat through an entire James Bond film until I rented Casino Royale a couple of years ago, but that's all changed now that the oh so hunky Daniel Craig has taken on the role.

Here's Daniel in the trailer showing off his fit bod and smooching with some woman who'll probably get killed off pretty sharpish, such is the order of things in the James Bond universe.

Oh my, now here's a good start to your day - David Beckham in his Armani tighty whitie underwear! This is the image used for the five storey poster that Macy's in San Francisco unveiled yesterday, those lucky queens!

Ah, San Francisco. Whenever I hear that name I think of the Judy Garland song except I was taught it by an old queen with an alternative lyric which started off something like:

"San Francisco open your Golden Gate,
Everyone masturbates here..!"

I can't remember the rest and a google search didn't bring any results. Maybe it's just something that's orally passed down through the generations. What if I was The One chosen to carry on the proud tradition? Oh it's a shame I've only got cotton wool between my ears.

So what's this got to do with David Beckham? Nothing. This is just an example of why I shouldn't blog in the mornings, I'm way too fuzzy.

Russia's Dima Bilan wins Eurovision 2008!

I was invited to a Eurovision Song Contest party last night so I watched the show in the best way possible - with a bunch of gay guys with a couple of token angry lesbians thrown in for good measure. I didn't actually get to listen to most of the show as there were so many people busy texting each other and chatting, but I did manage to watch most of it. As you probably know already, Russian's Dima Bilan won.

He deserved to win I guess, after all he'd put a lot of effort in it: he had his song produced by Timberland (it took a while to realise that he was singing in English though, poor Dima murdered the language); he sang on a mini artificial ice rink with the Russian champion ice skater Yevgeny Plushenko circling around him; plus he took his shirt off towards the end - that sure ticked all my boxes, but then again, I'm easily pleased.

I did a google search for some photographs of Dima to illustrated my post and I'm delighted to say that there seems to be nothing but semi-nude photographs of young Dima available. Seriously, there are hundreds of 'em. Here are just a few to give you the idea. It must be a cultural difference having your pop stars posing naked as I can't quite imagine our nice Will Young getting his kit off and hiding his junk behind a hard hat. Nice idea, but it's not going to happen.
